These statements will serve as a constant reminder of my commitment to the pursuit of excellence

and honor to the sport of rugby with The Crescent City Rougaroux Rugby Football Club.

I, PLAYER NAME:

Will do the right thing regarding my behavior in all team related activities and practices in and away from the training. If I am unsure of what the right thing is, I will ask.
Will demonstrate good character on and off the pitch by not doing anything to embarrass myself, my teammates, coaches, or organization.
Will plan ahead and keep my priorities in order: work, family, mental health, and then social commitments.
Will promote positive growth and development of myself and my teammates by bringing my best attitude to the pitch at all times.
Will wear appropriate team attire and protective athletic gear for all team events.
Will be respectful and courteous to all my teammates, coaches and volunteers.
Will comply with the requests of all coaching staff and volunteers. If there is a concern or question regarding any activity, I will speak with my coach or peers about my concerns.
Will put the team before myself by being honest in intentions regarding my effort to be the best teammate I can be.
Will honor commitments made to the board and organization to the best of my abilities.
Will report on time to all team activities, including practice, team meetings, team travel, and fitness sessions. If I am late or miss a team activity because of personal, injury or illness reasons, I will give adequate notice and make arrangements if other teammates are dependent upon me.
Will seek appropriate treatment for illness or injury within a timely manner. I will follow through with the course of treatment set forth by trainer, doctor, counselor or coach.
Will abide by these team policies and expectations. I understand that my team is a family and that my attitude and behavior affects the team.

I sign this document stating my commitment and willingness to give maximum effort and honesty with myself, my teammates and my coaches so that we may strive for excellence together. If I fail to comply with any of the above rules and statements, my continued participation or terms of probation will be at the discretion of the elected board members.
