Occurring every 2 years, the Mark Kendall Bingham Memorial Tournament, commonly referred to as the Bingham Cup, is the World Championship of International Gay Rugby. Named after Mark Bingham, one of the passengers who fought against the flight hijackers of United Airlines Flight 93, the tournament sees teams from more than 20 countries come together and celebrate inclusivity, sportsmanship, and equality. This will be the tenth Bingham Cup and continues to be one of the largest 15s Rugby Tournaments in the entire world comprising of over 70 teams.

The Crescent City Rougaroux are excited, proud, and humbled to be able to represent Louisiana in this Bingham Cup. We have worked hard to create an inclusive space to allow all members to learn and develop the sport in a positive way. Now we want to show the world what the Roux are all about. With that, the travel amounts and resources needed to get us there will be immense. We can’t make it without sponsors like you! Everything you provide helps us see our team to the international stage. It’s because of our past, present, and future sponsors that allow us to continue to grow. We are forever grateful to those individuals and organizations that make us succeed!
